The BMS 2004 NewsMarketing and Business ConsultancyThe past year has been busy and varied. We have been working steadily on a number of projects for our clients. We are still working with an executive coaching organisation who are about to launch a new book. The book is called ‘The 18 Challenges of Leadership’ by Authors – Trevor Waldock and Shenaz Kelly-Rawat. It is regarded by the publisher as possibly the most practical book on the market for developing your leadership talent. The foreword is written by Sir John Whitmore. If you would like more information visit www.theexecutivecoach.co.uk We are also working with a number of consultants and organisations who are providing training in the commercial sector. Several have come to us for help in designing their promotional materials and for help with building new databases. TrainingOur own sister organisation, Business Development Solutions is continuing to grow providing training, consultancy and coaching for the public and non-profit making sectors. Recent projects have included project management training and consultancy, coaching training, customer service and leadership programmes. Why not visit their pages on this site – just press their button at the top of this page. FacilitationOver the past months we have been supplying a facilitation service for a County Council. They are working on a large regional park project and we have provided a team of facilitators to facilitate their communication events with stakeholders and following each event, to provide a detailed written report to be used both by the Authority and their design consultants, together with a summary report for all stakeholders. We have thoroughly enjoyed this project which whilst being challenging has also been extremely interesting. Our teamI continue to build links with a number of organisations and consultants and feel that networking is the way forward not only for my businesses, but for other ‘small’ organisations. It is not just what you know, it is also who you know and my aim is, if I can’t help a client, I will find somebody who can. Adele and Tony continue to work with me on a daily basis and I have a great team of associate consultants who, I am glad to say, are both business colleagues and friends. I am also pleased to say I have strong links with an IT consultancy and a Web consultancy, they keep the computers and our website up and running. That’s about it for now. If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to email me, my address is: jan@b-bms.com With very best wishes for 2004 and into 2005. Jan Brand Links
